Today was sooo windy! Things were smashed and uprooted. General chaos. Luckily no big trees have been ripped out of the ground here yet (again) One year an Acacia uprooted and hit the roof, only did minor damage. I live in dread. Such is life.

these gals dont seem to mind the strong wind, they are calm little sentinals protecting your roof from debris. Only they didnt do such a good job that one year it seems...

I really like the design of this and the high contrast. It is a sort of 'calming' piece ... i mean it can make you feel confortable even if the wind outside can rip off big trees because it sort of reduces the effect of wind to simple curls and bends.

i live with the same tree dread looming over me every time a storm approaches. i keep crossing my fingers for no hurricane this year.
